In a new turn to the nuclear deadlock in Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Friday that Iran will not stop enriching uranium. He categorically stated that no new sanctions will be able to force Iran to bow down to the ‘bullying’ instruments of the western nations. The message was clear that Iran will now not back from the cycle of nuclear power and hopes to come full circle. This seems to be the blast of a nation so cornered by the western powers in the name of controlling nuclear weapon production. Ahmadinejad has however asked to speak before the U.N Security Council to clear Iran’s position. Can this be a sign of resolution or a new cornerstone in this fight over nuclearisation. Well all we can say, if not nuclear weapons the uranium issue has certainly enriched to the worse this nuclear ‘tug of words.’
